Controlling where Facebook Places puts you

In designing its new Places geolocation service, Facebook seems to have learned from its past privacy blunders. The new service has multiple layers of privacy control, but as with other aspects of Facebook privacy, users need to put some thought about whether and how they want to disclose their location. Facebook has also created an extra level of privacy for its under-18 users, prohibiting them from displaying their location to anyone other than their friends.

The first thing to know about Places is that it's not fully automatic. You have to "check in" or be tagged at a location for Facebook to display where you are. Because location is a particularly sensitive issue, Facebook, by default, shows only your location to people designated as friends, even if you have more open privacy settings for posts or other types of information.

Azusa Aida makes her 13th appearance

So what do you do with 21 girls? Hold a Gravure Idol contest that’s what. At Toshimaen Pool, Sankei Sports and One Eight Promotions held their “Visual Queen Photography event in Toshimaen 2010.” 1200 fans were entertained by the girls in their bikinis and other costumes. Google plugs 'high risk' Chrome browser holes

Google has shipped another Chrome browser update to fix multiple security security vulnerabilities. Some of these security holes can be exploited by malicious people to conduct spoofing attacks, bypass certain security restrictions, and potentially compromise a user’s system, according to this Secunia advisory.Secunia rates this a “highly critical” update. According to this basic documentation, there are a total of 11 vulnerabilities in this patch batch. Google is withholding details on most of the serious vulnerabilities until the majority of Chrome users are fully patches. Some of the flaws affect Linux users only.
